Montana trending up in Digital States Survey
Montana is trending up in the 2014 Digital States Survey, completed every two years by the Center for Digital Government. The 2014 results were recently published online and in September's Government Technology Magazine. Montana moved up in the standings - from a C+ in 2012 to a B in 2014. The center evaluated the digital technology practices of all 50 states, assigning each state a grade based on quantifiable results in better serving citizens and streamlining operations. Overall, since the last biennial survey in 2012, grades improved for 21 states, declined for 12 and remained the same for 17.
