In government and private industry, the most effective and efficient organizations are those that not only know who their customers are. They also know the experiences they have, the drivers of that experience, and where the most impactful levers are to improve that experience. Experts from Qualtrics will provide an overview of what it means to manage customer experience, where MT ranks compared to other states in terms of service delivery, and top tips on how the state's IT leaders can go from good to great.

Human Centered Design

The new strategic plan puts the State of Montana's CIO at the forefront of government, bringing human-centered approaches to their design and delivery of services - to customers and employees. But what is this thing called "Human Centered Design" and how can we apply it to our everyday work? Learn from HCD experts Dr Sydney Heimbrock and Hannah Burn how this disciplined approach keeps humans at the center of our service, program and policy design. Sydney and Hannah will share specific examples of how governments around the country and across the world - and especially IT shops - are adopting it into their work to increase effectiveness and efficiency.

All sessions except for the Tuesday night Reception/Exhibit Hall and the Wednesday evening Happy Hour are held at Helena College (Donaldson Campus). You may park in the Helena College campus or Helena High lots.
